Peek at the writing process - Spring Break Stories

The children wrote a first draft of their spring break stories.  In order to improve their writing, the children each read their story to a friend.  When reading their stories aloud, children can sometimes find words they have omitted or find ways to improve their stories.

Below you can see how children looked at book covers of various books.  They explored the illustrations, the font and the text used on the cover.
