The children are pictured typing a critique of the poem I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud by English poet William Wordsworth. Before reading the poem, the children researched William Wordsworth on the internet. They discovered that he had lived in a part of England called The Lake District about 250 years ago. We read and discussed the poem so that the children understood its meaning. We delved into the vocabulary of the poem and discussed how the poet made his writing better because of the words he chose. The children signed into Google Docs on a class set of Google Chromebooks and worked for almost an hour on their writing!
