The children were working on making Pyramids as we had read about Egypt as part of our study of Africa. Art teacher Mrs. Serpe's son Rex came to the classroom to talk to the children about his talent with the yo-yo. He took his yo-yo apart to show the children the ball bearing in the middle that makes his work so well. He also told the children that it was him mom that taught him how to yo-yo. In the background photos, you can see the children's pyramids on their desks!
