Nocturnal Animal Day

On Nocturnal Animal Day, the children got to wear their pajamas to school.  The blinds were closed and eyes were peeking out of the darkness.  The children spent the whole day learning about nocturnal animals.  The learned that bats use echolocation to hunt for prey.  Here you can see that the children drew bat skeletons.  They learned that bats have the same number of fingers as humans.  Bats are the only flying mammals!
